Steve joined Marketo from SAP, where he was most recently the president of SAP's Platform Solutions, leading the organization's multibillion-dollar growth and expansion into a range of technology markets. Over his seven years with SAP, he also served as global executive vice president and GM for its Database & Middleware Business, as well as global GM for its Business Analytics organization. Prior to SAP, Steve was the senior vice president of Platform Marketing at Salesforce.com, where he led the expansion of the company into cloud-based enterprise application development. He has also held senior leadership positions at BusinessObjects and co-chaired various government technology leadership initiatives including the TechAmerica BigData committee. Steve is currently a member of the board of directors of TiVo and SendGrid. Steve holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Colorado and is a published co-author of several books on business intelligence software.
Greg is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience leading sales and operations for enterprise technology companies. He joined Marketo in December 2016 to drive Marketo’s broad growth initiatives, unifying management of strategy, execution, and accountability of the entire organization as the company grows and evolves. Greg was executive vice president and general manager, Americas, at SAP’s Business Objects before leaving the company to found Emalex, a consulting firm for business-to-business technology companies, in 2009. At Business Objects, he led the organization through hyper-growth and saw the company become the number one business intelligence provider in the world with over $1 billion in revenue, millions of licensed users, and more than 5,000 employees. He previously held leadership positions at Crystal Decisions (acquired by Business Objects in 2004) and Xerox. Greg attended the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Brian has 25-plus years of experience leading finance and accounting organizations through high growth, including 3 IPOs. As CFO, he is responsible for global financial reporting and compliance, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and driving continuous process and system improvements to support the company’s growing operations. Brian was previously group vice president of finance. Prior to joining Marketo, Brian held a variety of finance leadership roles at SuccessFactors (acquired by SAP), CoTherix, Inc. (acquired by Actelion Pharmaceuticals), ClearSwift, and DigitalThink, among others. He began his career as an auditor at KPMG, earned a B.S. in accounting and MBA (finance concentration) from St. Mary’s College of California.
Eric is a proven enterprise technology executive with more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise-level brands to meet and exceed their revenue goals. As CSO, he oversees Marketo’s global sales operations. Eric joined Marketo in January 2017 after having served as president of the Americas at Qlik. There, he oversaw a team of more than 250 people across sales, presales, business development, and consulting that drove 40 percent of the company’s annual revenue. Prior to Qlik, he served as executive vice president of global enterprise sales at BlackBerry. Eric joined BlackBerry after more than two years at SAP where he was senior vice president and general manager, global database & technology. Eric was with relational database server provider Sybase before it was acquired by SAP. During his tenure there, he held numerous global operations positions including senior vice president and general manager, North America. Eric has also held sales roles at webmethods, Aleri, and Tele-Art HK Ltd., and was a Yen Options Trader early in his career. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is fluent in English and German.
Jason is a proven technology executive with over 15 years in leadership roles within traditional and SaaS companies. As COO, he’s charged with driving Marketo’s broad growth initiatives, unifying management of strategy, execution, and accountability of the entire organization as Marketo continues to grow. Jason previously held the position of chief customer officer, where he capitalized on his deep digital marketing domain expertise, customer knowledge, and customer passion to lead Marketo’s programs required to scale a world-class organization to meet the demands of a rapidly-growing customer base. Before joining Marketo, Jason held senior positions at Adobe Systems, Omniture (acquired by Adobe Systems), and Oracle. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University and an MBA in marketing from Northern Illinois University.
Chandar is in charge of positioning Marketo as the marketing industry’s innovation leader and best solution for high-growth and enterprise businesses. He was promoted to CMO from his role as group vice president of marketing in August 2016. Since joining Marketo two years earlier, Chandar built Marketo’s product, solution, and corporate marketing teams. A seasoned enterprise executive, he was previously with Badgeville where he oversaw the company’s worldwide marketing efforts including product and corporate marketing and demand generation. Prior to that he served as vice president of product and channel marketing for IBM Cast Iron. Chandar also spent time at Andersen Consulting as an advisor to Fortune 500 companies in the high-tech, retail, and oil and gas industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from PSG College of Technology in India and a master of science in management from the University of Texas.
Robin has more than 20 years of partner strategy and marketing experience across both SAAS and traditional industries. As senior vice president of business development, Robin leads Marketo’s Business Development, Strategic Alliances and Partner teams. Prior to Marketo, Robin held several leadership positions, notably VP of Partner Strategy and Alliances at Adobe, and VP Strategic Alliances and GTM at Salesforce. In those roles, she helped to build and define partner value and the model for hyper growth and innovation with and through partners. At SAP Robin joined Global Marketing and then moved to the partner organization to support scale programs through SMB and Channel Partners and Systems Integration Program Management. Robin started her career at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers building equity and commodity derivative products and markets. Robin holds a B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
Shaun brings over 15 years of enterprise and software engineering expertise to Marketo. As CTO, Shaun focuses on developing Marketo’s powerful, enterprise-class technologies that set the industry standard. Shaun came to Marketo in 2012 through the acquisition of Crowd Factory, a leading social campaign management platform company, where he was CTO and co-founder. His earlier experience includes software engineering roles with Oracle, InterTrust, and Informix Software.
Margo is responsible for Marketo's worldwide legal affairs and compliance. She has extensive experience representing public and private technology companies in M & A, commercial, compliance, litigation, IP, policy, privacy and international law matters. Most recently, Margo served as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at QuinStreet (NASDAQ: QNST), a digital marketing and media company. Margo previously was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), now a part of Advantest Corporation. Margo began her legal career at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she worked with public and private companies through all stages of their development. Margo earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington.
